NRCC Annual Meeting and Summer Event 2015  

NRCC Annual Meeting 2015 was held on 10 June. The NRCC Board Meeting, the NRCC Council Meeting and General Assembly took place at GIEK facilities, Dronning Mauds gate 15, Oslo. Liv Monica Stubholt, President of the NRCC and partner in the law firm Hjort, representing Kværner, chaired annual meetings. 

Meetings were followed by the Annual Summer Event. This year NRCC organized a fjord cruise on the majestic sailing ship S/V Legend. About 80 persons could enjoy a cruise on the Oslo fjord with good opportunities for networking and delicious food and shrimps from the Varangerfjord, Finnmark County, sponsored by our member Troika Seafood. We would like to thank all the participants in the Annual Meeting and Summer Event. 

Norwegian-Russian Business Journal №1, 2015 (in English with Russian summaries)

The Norwegian-Russian Business Journal is the member journal for NRCC members, where subjects of relevance to the economic cooperation between Russia and Norway are discussed.  

The newest issue was published in April 2015 and contains articles about NRCCs organization and its recent activities: Young Entrepreneurs programme - the results over the course of two academic years; news from the NRCC member companies; one-day business trip to Russia's Silicon Valley - Zelenograd. Editor Knut A. Mugaas continues examining lessons to be learned from the long and close economic cooperation between Finland and Russia. Among other topics are news from NRCC member companies; discussions about research cooperation between Norway and Russia; interview with VIPs, interview with Professor Jens Petter Nielsen, editor of the new book "Russland kommer nærmere" ("Russia comes closer"); update on recent legal news of particular interest to foreign companies made by Beiten Burkhardt law firm; overview over the developments in tourism between Norway and Russia.

Networking meeting in St. Petersburg, 19 May 2015

On 19 May, the NRCC Networking Meeting took place in St. Petersburg, in the facilities of NRCC member company Hotel Radisson Royal.

About 55 participants took part in the meeting

Russian and Norwegian NRCC member companies and organizations participated in the meeting, as well as as officials from both countries

The meeting was opened by welcome speech from Mr. Jørn Tverseth, NRCC Project Manager and moderator of the meeting.
