The Research Council of Norway - NORRUSS project
NORRUSS is the Research Council's first social science research programme on Russia and the High North. The programme was created and planned for the period 2012 – 2016, comprising of two main thematic dimensions, both with views to Norwegian interests: Challenges and Opportunities in the High North. Russia`s Relations with the Outside World and Developments in Russia - Politics, Economy and Society. The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs have funded the programme and the guidelines for the programme is laid out in three agreements between The Research Council of Norway (RCN) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) (separate with Section for Russia and Section for Northern Areas).
The Research Council of Norway has recently published a report describing the four of NORRUS projects - “Prosjektpresentasjoner: Bak gardinene i det russiske hus” – in Norwegian only.
