urban growth

On 23 May 2019, BI - Norwegian Business School will host the 6th annual Norwegian seminar of green economics, focusing on Urban development into the future.

-Mission-Oriented Innovation for 100 carbon neutral cities by 2030, launched by Mariana Mazzucato, UCL London, to be presented by project leader Martha McPherson

-A good disruption on food, mobility, buildings by CEO Martin Stuchtey from Systemiq / McKinsey.

-Good Urban density, by prof. Kathy Pain from Reading Business School

The Norwegian Seminar on Green Economics - URBAN GREEN GROWTH is a collaboration between BI (Norwegian Business school), Oslo University, and IFE and members of NRCC are welcome to join.

Urbanization could in principle be a strong enabler of a green, net-positive economy. But on our current trajectory, cities are growing into 'more of the old' rather than the infrastructure for a new better economy. This seminar gives you the theory, practical examples and opportunity for mingling to get you updated. The event is open to guests and may be of interest to NRCC members.
