Seminars & Courses

NRCC organizes specialized courses and seminars about the Russian and Norwegian society and market. Some of the seminars are organized in cooperation with Russian and Norwegian partners. Non-members are also invited to seminars, however, for a non-member participation fee. Seminar, courses and ad-hoc events are also organized in regional Norway, in cooperation with various partners.

NRCC offers members and non-members,  in-depth courses about the Russian and Norwegian market on the basis of paid services.

NRCC members are entitled to discounts in connection with participartipation in seminars and courses which requires fee contribution.

Interactive Maritime Workshop on 31 May 2017

On 31 May 2017, Interactive Maritime Workshop was organized by Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce. The workshop took place in the facilities of Trade Representation of the Russian Federation. About 20 maritime companies took part in the meeting. 

Mr. Alexander Anikin, the Russian Federation’s Trade Representative to the Kingdom of Norway, together with Mr. Jarle Forbord, Managing Director of the NRCC, opened the meeting by welcoming all the participants.

Mr. Anatoly Togunjatz, Director of Department of ship’s seaworthiness, architecture and device of Research and Design Institute “Giprorybflot”, held presentation about status and prospectives of the Russian shipbuilding.

The next speaker, Mr. Rolf Fiskerstrand, CEO, Fiskerstrand Holding/ Member of the Board of Directors of NRCC and the Federation of Norwegian Industries, presented to the maritime companies an overview about maritime technology from Norway and industry cooperation with Russia.

Next, Mr. Sergey Alekseev, Director of Arctic Engineering Centre of Krylov State Research Center, talked about possibilities of cooperation for shipbuilding companies in oil and gas projects.

Then Mr. Asbjørn Solevågseide, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Optimar AS, presented his topic "World class fish handling with care".

Mr. Evgeny Markelov, Deputy Director General of PJSC Special Economic Zone "Lotus", described possibilities for deployment of industrial enterprises in connect with shipbuilding, mechanical engineering and high-tech manufacturing at «Lotus» and invited all presented companies to cooperate with them.

Next, Mr. Tor Idar Øye, Vice President Sales of Rapp Marine AS, held presentation about exporting technology to the Russian maritime industry.

After Mr. Yrjar Garshol, Vice President Marketing of Rolls-Royce Marine, closed the session of corporate presentations by introducing topic about integrated maritime systems packages for Russian fishery.

At the end of the event discussions was initiated by Mr. Jørn Tverseth, Senior Project Manager of NRCC. The audience and speakers have discussed perspectives of cooperation between presented maritime companies.  

 After the workshop, participants were invited to join the networking session with refreshments, organized by Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Norway .
