NRCC Forums and conferences

In 2010 the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Norway asked the NRCC to organize a business forum in connection with the official state visit of President Medvedev to Oslo. I Norwegian Russian Business Forum (NRBF) took place at Radisson Blu Oslo Plaza Hotel, with 400 participants attending. President Medvedev invited the NRCC and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia (CCI of Russia) to organize a similar event in Moscow the following year. II NRBF took took place in the facilities of CCI RF in Moscow 2011 with 350 participants. In 2012, NRCC and CCI of Russia organized the III NRBF in the facilities of Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) in Oslo - 350 participants. The IV NRBF took place in Moscow at Hotel Metropol in December 2014. The Forum was organized by the NRCC and CCI of Russia. 


V Norwegian-Russian Business Forum was organised in Oslo on 26 October

Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce (NRCC) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI of Russia) thank all the participants of the V Norwegian-Russian Business Forum (V NRBF) held on 26 October in Oslo! The event gathered 240 representatives of Russian and Norwegian companies and organizations, as well as public officials from both countries.

This is the 5th consecutive NRBF that has been organised. NRBF is a unique framework for discussing the most important issues of the Norwegian-Russian business cooperation with participation of authorities and business representatives. It is the leading business arena where Norwegian and Russian companies and organizations can present their projects, exchange experiences, meet partners and establish contacts. 

Norwegian and Russian representatives from government institutions oficially opened the Forum, followed up by interventions by high-level business experts from Norway and Russia. At the end of each parallel session participants took part in lively panel discussions with the speakers of the Forum.

Please find enclosed an interview with Mr. Ivan Dudanov, managing director of the company "Pogar Potato Factory" from Bryansk region (nearly 400km southwest of Moscow). Mr. Dudanov was one of those who attended the IV Norwegian-Russian Business Forum held on December 10 in Moscow. He explained how to develop the Russian-Norwegian business relations in times of economic turmoil and how his company is going to modernize its business.

IV Norwegian-Russian Business Forum - 10-11 December 2014, Moscow

IMG 5810Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce (NRCC) and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI RF) organized the IV Norwegian-Russian Business Forum (IV NRBF) in Moscow on the 10th and 11th of December 2014 at the Hotel Metropol.

Norway and Russia have within various disciplines a close relationship in the cross-border area of Norway and Russia, especially within bilateral business activity. During the last decade, the cooperation has doubled. The member organisation, NRCC, works daily to networking initiatives that contribute to increased interaction in the business sector between Norway and Russia. A central meeting place for the industry in this work is the Norwegian-Russian Business Forum (NRBF) that is being held biannually in Oslo and Moscow. NRBF is organised in close cooperation with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and was organised last time in Oslo 2012.


The aim of the NRCC is to stimulate and improve business relations between Norwegian and Russian companies regarding import, export, shipping, business development, tourism or investment activities. More...
