Honorary Members of the NRCC

According to the Statutes of the NRCC, individuals who made considerable contribution  promoting Norwegian-Russian trade, industrial relations, economic, cultural cooperation and other activities in accordance with the Chamber's goals, can after suggestion by the General Assembly of the NRCC, be appointed honorary members of the NRCC.

By 2013, the following persons are honorary members of the Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce.

Per Støle

Per Støle has been engaged in Norwegian-Russian business relations since the beginning of the 1990s, holding leading positions in Norwegian companies dealing with Russia. In 1992 he was appointed a member of the Board of the newly established Osthandelssenteret i Kirkenes, which activities were aimed at developing business cooperation between the Norwegian and Russian part of the Barents region. The company was later acquired by SIVA and later on Per Stole was apponited Deputy CEO of SIVA,  in charge of international development of SIVA until 2008. Both then and today SIVA has is playing an important role regarding facilitating establishment of Norwegian SME in North West Russia. Presently, Per Støle is Chairman of SIVA International Management, with cooperation with Russia as its core activity, with special focus on North West Russia. Støle is also Chairman of Technopark Nor AS, an industrial park in Murmansk owned by SIVA and Innovation Norway. Støle was awarded NRCC honorary membership in December 2011.
