Rolf Fiskerstrand

Rolf Fiskerstrand 2014 190 260Mr. Fiskerstrand is a Managing Director of Fiskerstrand Holding AS (2012 - present), Fiskerstrand BLRT AS (2010 - present) and Fiskerstrand Verft AS (2014) which build the world's first dedicated LNG bunkering vessel.
He has a long experince in leading various oil & gas projects. During 1980 - 1990 Rolf Fiskerstrand held engineering, project and executing positions at Aker Stord AS, the largest offshore oil & gas yard in Norway. Mr. Fiskerstrand was responsible for approimately 300 engineers and was a member of the executive management team while building oil & gas platforms. 
Since 1990 Rolf Fiskerstrand has been working for Fiskerstrand Verft AS. This private family company was established by his grandfather Peder E. Fiskerstrand in 1909, and it is one of the two oldest shipyards in Norway that have been in continuously operation since the start. The Fiskerstrand Group consists of several companies, including a ship design, ship repair, maintenance, conversions and newbuilding of ships. The Fiskerstrand Group has been working with Russian shipowners for the last 15 years and approximately 250 Russian vessels were at the company's yards yard for repairs, maintenance and conversion since 1999.

Fiskerstrand holds MSc.degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Department of Marine Technology, Trondheim, Norway (NTNU).
