The Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established by Norwegian and Russian business circles in Oslo on 20 October 2003. Members include major Norwegian and Russian companies such as Equinor, Jotun, RN Nordic Oil as well as central business organizations such as the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), GIEK, Innovation Norway, universities and SMEs. Russian companies are also members of Board of Directors of the NRCC. The working language of the Chamber is English, which is used both for official correspondance and networking meetings.
Since the establishment of the association, NRCC has developed close cooperation with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, centrally as well as in regional Russia. The CCIs of Russia have about 170 regional offices and more than 50 000 members. Our outreach to Russian companies in the Russian market is thus extraordinary and quite unique.
NRCC is an NGO mainly financed by various types of membership. In 2020, the NRCC signed third three-year Program Agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway with the aim of strengthening business relations between Norway and Russia.

The NRCC is the leading Norwegian-Russian Business Network.

Aim

The aim of the NRCC is to stimulate and improve business relations between Norwegian and Russian companies regarding import, export, shipping, business development, tourism or investment activities. In addition, the Chamber aims to enhance the understanding of each others' business culture, market developments and other socio-economic developments of importance.

Members

As of today, the Chamber has about 110 members representing various sectors. It is a pleasure for us to see a growing interest from Russian companies joining the Chamber. A list of the NRCC Members can be found under "Members". The expanded list is only available for the NRCC Members.

Management

Both the NRCC Board and the NRCC Administration consist of people with vast experience from Norwegian-Russian trade relations. More information can be found under "About NRCC Employees", "About NRCC Board" and "About NRCC Council".

Activities

The Chamber presently offers regular networking events, newsletters, seminars, courses, business delegations, as well as social, cultural and various ad-hoc arrangements. More information can be found under "Events".

Fees 2021

Company Members

The below fee categories are based on a company’s turnover.

If a company member belongs to a group of companies, the fee will be based on a consolidated turnover of the group. For companies with domestic parent company, the fee is based on group’s consolidated turnover. For Norwegian companies with non-Norwegian parent company, the fee is based on the turnover of the Norwegian company (and its subsidiaries). The above applies vice versa for Russian companies.

If a company member belongs to a group of companies, the Board may accept to set the membership fee based on the isolated turnover of a such company member if the company’s business activities fall outside core/main business activities of the other companies in the group.

Please note that the membership fee is valid for a calendar year, i.e. from the date of the Board's approval of the membership and until 31 December of the same year.
